Emblematic proposal focused on locally based Geoconservation, Geoeducation and Geotourism.
Small fossil deposit located on the left bank of the Chambo River, in the tourist attraction Las Caras de Cotaló. It is broadly composed of ancient volcanic deposits from Tungurahua, calcareous materials and alluvial terraces. Its trails show the petrification process and the incidence of an extinct volcano.
